I disagree both with the first commentator and, especially, with Mr. Garg. It can be equally said of the "Obamacare" that Democrats and Liberals (Social and Fiscal) is filled with much propaganda and falsehoods testified to boost public support for its view. But the truth is what is actually in the Healthcare Bills themselves and for what exactly it will cause to the American public. If anyone is willing to be truly open-minded, I highly challenge you to read the Bill for yourself. Speaking as one of those whom the Dems and Obama claims to want to help (uninsured, ill with cancer and cirrhosis) - I recognize their lies. But the question is can others recognize the Dems lies?

When I read this article, I became increasingly more uneasy re the style--lots of quotation marks, words such as "never" and "always", the aggressive tone. Upon rereading, I realized that this article was more rhetorical than factual; and, I wasn't expecting to be reading such an article in "The Physicians News Digest". If not for Dr. McCracken's comment, I still would've been puzzled and feel "anxious" over this news article. Now that I understand a little more about the origin of the article, I realize why I felt so uneasy: not news, opinion and rhetoric that has been disguised (not very well) as news. Not sure such an article belongs in Physicians News much less on the first page.

No one wastes money like the federal government. I just read about the feds paying ,000 for a toilet or putting up a guardrail around a dry lake! If I give my kid money for a sensible book and he goes and buys candy, I don't give him any more money. We must cut the government off until it learns to manage what it has! Why on earth would we entrust 1/6 of our economy to these fools!

Propaganda from the American Enterprise Institute should not be the lead story on the Physicians News Digest. It is reasonable to include viewpoints from all perspectives on this website, but it is not news that the AEI doesn't support the administration. Indeed, the entire PURPOSE of the AEI is to drive an pro-conservative, anti-left marketing campaign.
A lot can happen in the next year in health reform. I can guarantee that whatever happens, the AEI will oppose it.
