Problems with Autochart

By Nancy

Published June 1999

MedPartners uses Medic/Autochart, of which  Columbus Clinic is a member, Columbus, Georgia.  I was a transcriptionist there and quit partly because of Autochart and partly because I wanted to work at home.  When the system wasn't down it was slow. I have used other similar medical software in local hospitals and HMOs and found all to be slow. In my 30+ years experience I have found that Lanier WorldWide has always had the best dictation and transcription equipment.   Don't know about other medical record systems they have currently.
